A Message from Raymond J. Kinley, Jr., Chief Executive Officer
Dear friends,
“Driving a highway should be like a visit to the symphony,” CHA-founder and highway engineer John Clarkson said famously. He saw how the blacktop’s path could set a cadence, how reaching a hilltop could be a crescendo. John had a passion for engineering like none other.
While the diversity of our services has grown tremendously over the decades, one thing has remained constant. John’s vision - that, if well-designed, even the everyday can be extraordinary – still defines our every project.
For example, our work on Vermont’s Bennington Bypass broke new ground, both literally and figuratively, with the creation of an environmentally-friendly major highway. And in an upstate New York community, CHA’s planners recently took a radical approach to addressing urban sprawl and achieved the rarest of things: a land use plan that has both developers and environmentalists smiling.
If you are considering a career with us, let me be the first to welcome your interest. We are a growing firm and looking to add new talent. At CHA, the salaries are competitive, the benefits outstanding, the environment professional. You will find that superior performance is expected, but always well supported.
Whatever your interest, I warmly invite you to come and see how we earned a reputation for quality and service that continues to turn our clients into lifelong advocates.
